Spalted Oak Bowl

Spalting is caused by fungi and presents various patterns and colors in wood.  The unique patterns and colors are sought by woodworkers and especially woodturners as no two pieces are ever the same.  This bowl has some beautiful colors and patterns throughout.  I was also able to retain a section of live edge that just adds to the character of this bowl.  This bowl measures 7 3/4″ wide and 3 1/4″ tall.  This bowl would look beautiful as a coffee table center piece.
